Empowered Youth Program

Empowered Youth Program

The Empowered Youth Program is currently in development. To help guide our mentees, we are building community partnerships to engage and support them in their journey into adulthood. Check back soon as we grow closer to launching Empowered. Soon we will have opportunities for applying to be a Mentor (or OG’s as our program calls them) posted on this page to begin the pre-screening process along with applications for mentees.

Core Tenants

Mission

Empowering Black and Brown youth aged 8-21, guiding them towards responsible adulthood while preventing crime and delinquency. This program is committed to offering compassionate mentorship, equipping them with life skills, and fostering a sense of community. We believe in shaping young leaders who not only overcome challenges but also inspire their communities, ultimately creating a world where potential knows no bounds.

Our Vision

Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders, Transforming Communities

We envision a world where Black and Brown youth, regardless of their circumstances, are given the opportunity and support to grow into responsible, confident, and successful adults.

Our mentorship program is committed to guiding these young minds toward a brighter future and breaking the cycle of crime and delinquency, while building a stronger, more equitable society. While we have a special focus on Black and Brown youth, our doors are open to all, fostering an inclusive and diverse community.
Through compassionate mentorship and guidance, we aim to intercept and prevent the challenges that at-risk youth often face, creating a nurturing environment where they can thrive and realize their full potential. Our program is more than just a safety net; it is a springboard to opportunity and empowerment.
We focus on imparting crucial life skills, instilling values of responsibility, and fostering a strong sense of community. Our commitment to addressing the unique needs of Black and Brown youth ensures that we are proactive in tackling the systemic issues that contribute to their vulnerabilities.
In our program, financial literacy, job training, resume building, and credit building are not just concepts but tangible tools for a brighter future. We envision a world where every participant has the knowledge and resources to make informed financial decisions, access meaningful employment opportunities, and build a foundation for a secure and prosperous life.

Together, we are shaping leaders who will not only overcome adversity but also serve as beacons of hope and inspiration for their communities. Our vision is one of empowerment, transformation, and unity, where the youth we mentor today become the responsible adults and leaders of tomorrow. Together, we are the catalyst for change.
