Community Safety Through Accountability

For many people, driving is routine. For many people of color, it can also come with the added risk of racially aggressive drivers and road rage that escalates fast.

Drive With Dignity is a community safety initiative from The Father’s Group built around a simple idea: documentation protects people.

When harmful incidents happen on the road, dashcam footage can provide clear evidence, strengthen accountability, and reduce the “he said, she said” that too often leaves victims unsupported. This is about safety, truth, and dignity.

We are also choosing local storage, not cloud storage. The reason behind this is due to increased security concerns with cloud based companies utilizing footage against the general public as opposed to helping. All footage is saved directly to a memory card so the driver maintains control over their recordings without relying on a third-party subscription or online account. A F.A.Q. will be provided for usage and best practices for those receiving the DashCams.

What we are funding

We are raising funds to build and distribute full Drive With Dignity kits, which include:

• Kenwood Dashcam: $280

• VanTrue 256GB MicroSD card: $80

• USB-C hardwire kit Installation: $230*

• Total cost per complete kit: $600
